Design Build

With over 40 years of combined experience along with our engineering firm, let us put our design build skills to work for you. Emergency Escape Hoists

At ICSI, we understand the importance of a having a reliable emergency escape hoisting system. That is why we provide a full range of services for emergency escape hoists from design build to regular inspections. We want to make sure your needs are met. Information on Emergency Escape Hoists: All aluminum cages comply with PIB P09-12 or PIB P12-03. We can design/build Escape Hoists coupled to ventilation systems. We offer Temporary Escape Hoists. We also feature Gray-Eering Hoists.

Emergency Work

In the fast paced competitive world of mining, down time from emergencies can be detrimental to an operation. At ICSI we are willing to work around the clock to get you up and running again. At an underground coal mine a conveyor fire destroyed the 200+ foot HAC (High Angle Conveyor) belt system used to transport coal up the vertical shaft to the surface. The mine was shut down leaving workers unemployed until the HAC belt could be replaced. ICSI was contacted and in only 23 days the belt system was put back into operation allowing the mines to be re-opened for production.

Mine Elevators

New installation of mine elevators and head frames for all your shaft mine transportation needs. We also perform elevator upgrades and refurbishments in which we completely overhaul the entire system to be recertified by federal and state authorities.

Mine Hoisting

At ICSI, we specialize in all aspects of mine hoisting, from skip hoists to slope hoists. Our range of services includes installation, upgraded refurbishments, and monthly inspections. We also offer temporary hoisting solutions for shaft or slope service or emergency escape.

Mine Ventilation

ICSI can provide all of your mine ventilation needs with complete professional installations. We specialize in underground mine fan installations. Our Fan and Escape Hoist combinations are built by our highly trained professionals. We can custom build your Mine Ventilation System or we have the capabilities to rebuild/refurbish ventilation equipment.

Project Management

ICSI will Define the scope of your project, Author the bid packages, Generate potential bidders, Conduct the bid meeting, Review bids and make recommendations, Award the job, Oversee the work for quality control and start up assistance.
